About Me
I am an aspiring game designer, eternal student, and an experienced information technology support technician who is working to soon finish a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused in Game and Interactive Media Design from Savannah College of Art and Design in the hopes of advancing into a more creative career. Currently in June of 2022, I am a freelance game tester and contract VR prototyper. By January 2022 I completed the Level 3 Course from the Indie Game Academy and the XR Prototyping Bootcamp hosted by XR Bootcamp, and I am continuing to network and learn more in both the game and XR industries. (check my Interactive Design or Blog pages for examples from this course) In addition, I am an active member of the IGDA and have been attending various conferences and webinars on the game industry to learn more; I am also rencently participating in their mentorship program and have been a participant in the Xbox Game Camp Atlanta 2022!

Software QA Tester at Epic Games (contract)
Working remotely through a contract with Eastridge Workforce Solutions, I tested the multiple features and components in multiple versions of Unreal Engine. I used Perforce for stream downloads, the TestRail platform for test passes, and logged work and bugs using the Jira system. I was also familiarized with SDK management platforms of multiple consoles.
June 2020 - March 2021
Premier Support Engineer at Microsoft
(contract)
Working remotely and contracted by Microsoft via Apex Systems, I served as premier support for SharePoint Online and OneDrive Business by responding to customer questions and issues relating to the products. I engaged engineering and subject matter experts as needed to get customer issues corrected and questions answered within boundaries of supportability of the products and confidentiality of customer and company data.

IT Support Specialist at Lincoln Harris

Working through contract with TEKsystems, my responsibilities included end user support with hardware and software. The hardware consisted of mostly Dell laptops (Latitude 7000 series), docks, and monitors along with iPhones. The software consisted of multiple platforms including Active Directory, MRI, Mitel/Shoretel (IP phone system), Track-It! (IT work logging system), Passwordstate, Lansweeper (domain inventory system), Microsoft Office Suite, some Sharepoint, Beyond Trust (formerly Bomgar; remote desktop assistance platform), Meraki (MDM system), Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Windows 10 Enterprise, and Adobe Acrobat Standard. I also made both written and video documentation for training and reference for use by the IT department and end users.
September 2016 - January 2017
Device Repair Technician at Staymobile
(part time)
I was responsible for front of store retail duties (selling items and services, customer questions, phone, register operation, etc.) as well as device repairs done in the back of the store. I worked at two different locations with and without help or supervision and was often responsible for closing operations (money counting and securing, locking doors and gates, security activation, etc.). I normally worked weekday nights (after I got off from my other part time job) from 6 pm or 7 pm to 10 pm or 12 am.

Computer Technician Positions at York Technical College

I maintained, organized, updated, moved, troubleshooted, and inventoried faculty and staff computer hardware (printers, scanners, computers, accessories [mice, keyboards, speakers, etc.]). In addition, I have also responded to many hardware, software, and network related problems using the company Helpdesk.

I pulled and terminated Ethernet cable around the college campus as well as removed viruses from and updated campus lab computers.

I also provided deliverables of logo designs, UI prototype for the company's flagship software (created in Unity; planned in Adobe XD), and a written mission statement meant to relate the company's values (disclaimer: these deliverables where not necessarily used or made public).

IT Support Technician Positions at Bahakel Communications LTD
(full time, part time)
In addition to end user support, I helped manage, maintain, and setup various servers and systems for users and administrators. I also assisted with the creation and deletion of users in GSuite, Active Directory, Office365, and Wide Orbit Traffic software platforms. Other tasks included making and maintaining documentation and training materials for IT staff as well as users. I also became familiar with Goverlan and Bomgar (now called Beyond Trust) remote desktop support software.
